At Cyd Sews, every item is handmade with care and attention to detail. We want you to be happy with your purchase and will work with you to resolve legitimate issues with your order.

1. Returns

For eligible ready-to-ship products, we accept return requests made within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, unwashed, undamaged, and in its original condition.

To request a return, please contact us before sending the item back.

​

Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

2. Custom and Personalized Orders

​

Custom, personalized, and made-to-order products are generally not eligible for return or refund because they are created specifically for the customer.

This includes, but is not limited to:

​

• Custom quilts

• Memory quilts

• Personalized gift quilts

• Custom-designed quilts

• Products made using customer-supplied materials

• Other personalized or made-to-order projects

If a custom product arrives damaged or has a significant manufacturing error, please contact us so we can review the issue and determine an appropriate solution.

3. Non-Returnable Items

​

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the following items are generally not eligible for return:

​

• Custom or personalized products

• Memory quilts

• Made-to-order products

• Used or washed products

• Products damaged after delivery due to customer handling or care

• Items returned outside the applicable return period

• Gift cards, where offered

4. Damaged or Incorrect Items

​

Please inspect your order when it arrives.

​

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is materially different from what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible and provide:

• Your order number

• A description of the issue

• Photographs of the item

• Photographs of the packaging, if the item was damaged during shipping

​

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, may offer a replacement, repair, refund, or another suitable resolution.

5. Return Shipping

​

Unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly sent, the customer is generally responsible for the cost of return shipping.

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed upon by Cyd Sews.

6. Refunds

​

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be issued to the original payment method.

​

The time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

7. Exchanges

​

Because many Cyd Sews products are handmade and available in limited quantities, exchanges may not always be possible.

Where an exchange cannot be fulfilled, an eligible customer may instead be offered a refund or another appropriate resolution.

8. Sale or Promotional Items

​

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, sale or promotional items may be subject to additional return restrictions.

Any special return conditions will be communicated with the applicable promotion or product listing.
