Hi, I’m Cyd Mendelson, the maker behind Cyd Sews.

From my studio in Philadelphia, I design and hand-stitch quilts and quilted home goods using high-quality fabrics and thoughtful craftsmanship. I believe the things we use every day should be both beautiful and practical.

I only create pieces I’d proudly give to my own family. From organic cotton baby quilts to the Marigold kitchen collection, each item is made with care, patience, and attention to detail. Whether I’m working on a custom commission or sewing a shop favorite, my goal is always the same — to create something meaningful that brings warmth and comfort into your home.
